Founded in 2009, eGenio Education Solutions has developed a revolutionary Integrated Learning Environment that will transform the learning experience for every student.

Given the opportunity to use technology in creative and innovative ways to improve educational outcomes, co-founders David Berman and Don Greenberg assembled a talented team to shape the dream of eGenio into a reality.

Our mission is to develop easy to learn, easy to use technology solutions that improve education for students, teachers, administrators and parents.

At eGenio, we strive to challenge the status quo. If we are going to change the future, we cannot just accept the past. Instead, eGenio develops the tools that will prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s opportunities!

Meet The Team

Don Greenberg, Founder & CEO

Don is husband to Maleia, father to Elyse and Melanie, and pet father to Roxy and Ruby (pictured). A real gadget guy, Don loves technology, cruising around town on his red Vespa scooter, gardening, walking his dogs on the beach and listening to music. Don’s goal is to develop a company that can change the future of education and improve outcomes for all kids!

Melanie Thompson, Director of Internal & Virtual Administration

Melanie is a collector of all things “Retro". On any given day you may see her sporting a pillbox hat and a vintage dress. When she is not collecting retro stuff she is out taking Polaroid pictures of the city.

Rachel Rutherford, Director of Technical Strategies

When Rachel isn't traveling to far-off lands, she is looking for the next local adventure. New experiences and new challenges thrill her but a few oldies but goodies such as hiking, reading and sculpting keep her grounded. Rachel hopes to use her exuberance and tenacity to drive eGenio to success. 

Carrie Collier, Service Coordinator

Carrie is fond of the outdoors - especially in warm, summery (even sticky) weather and enjoys visiting Cleveland's many parks with her husband and three children.  Her love for teaching inspires her to serve in her community and local church, but at the end of a busy day, she looks forward to quietly sipping a delicious cup of coffee!

Donna Kiwala, Account Executive

Donna has a BS in Elementary and Special Education from Kent State University, as well as a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction – Computer Uses in Education from Cleveland State University.  Donna spent 14 years teaching in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District before entering the world of sales.  She has a husband Bill, and two children, Sam and Libby.  When she finds free time, you'll find Donna at a Zumba class or reading a good book!
